An installation sculpture commemorating the lost factory industry of Lubec, Maine. Over 300 ceramic shingles were handcut and imprinted with an authentic defunct Lubec factory shingle. The installation was created for and installed on-site at the Mullholland Gallery, currently the homebase of Lubec Landmarks whose main purpose is to restore the old McCurdy Smokehouses.

Handcarved images are transcribed from the Water, Wind, and Time drawing series that focuses on the Columbian Canning Plant, Lubec, ME. The forms are inspired by the wood pilings that emerge from the sand outside the factory.

Ceramic columns imprinted with brick remnants from the American Can Factory that burned in the early 1900's. The brick fragments were collected from the original site in Lubec, Maine.

This sculpture was inspired by the 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire in New York City. The interior includes three floors of sculpted furnishings and the exterior a path of paper dolls.
